weekend

Weekend, always, is evanescent. Hung out in the city with friends to celebrate Hannah's birthday on Friday night and couldn't recover until Sunday. Is it really because of my age? It's been awhile since I hung out like that...and it was actually a lot of fun. It's good to be silly and laugh with friends you truly love. A few drinks and too much food...I was so stuffed until next day...hate that feeling though.
Started two books this weekend..in the midst of several unfinished books. It's not good to find myself doing this more often these days. Perhaps because most of my readings been on Christian books ...and I find some of them pretty dry. wish I read more Christian books during college..I was always busy looking for good novels that I richly enjoyed..at least I did. Now, not even enough time to read to feed my soul. I tried to stay home as much as possible to catch up on some reading this weekend. One of them is "Purpose Driven Life" which I read 2 years ago. Our small group is doing 40 day devotional with this book together starting this week. It's definitely not as same as I read it previously..but I'm sure it will be a good tool for us to share our walk with God.
